Edible Eco-Activist Attacks

UK Business Secretary Peter Mandelson Hit With Green Custard

In an act of fury and local eco-activism, Leila Deen, an activist from a campaign group called Plane Stupid, threw a cup of slimy green custard in the face of UK Business Secretary Peter Mandelson as he stepped out of his car yesterday.

The shower of custard was a reaction to reports that said Lord Mandelson had met with lobbyists from Heathrow airport owner BAA before the government decided to give the much-debated yes to a third runway at the London airport.

After the custard attack Leila Deen licked her fingers and calmly walked away. I applaud this innocent act of genius. A bit of custard never hurt a soul and clearly gets the message across that the community is not happy about this extension of the Heathrow airport.

UK bookies are now taking bets as to what the next dessert will be… Urgh!
