The base reflects a similar look to the foundation of a traditional desktop monitor, resting on a single aluminum structure that slopes at the back. The main light source is vinyl with a trackpad-like face where it hosts all of the controls -- this includes the ambient light's on and off or the increase or decrease of brightness. The most notable feature is the polycarbonate diffuser disk that magnifies the light to a 'clear' like quality.
