A startup called GoPuff is on a mission to replace the traditional convenience store by offering on-demand delivery for common household items. These days, technology has made it possible for consumers to access various service outside of traditional business hours. This new platform offers a way for consumers to get their hands on common convenience store products even after most stores have closed for the night.
GoPuff is the brainchild of two Drexel University students who wanted to use the same on-demand food delivery model to help consumers shop for other household items. Their solution was to create a 24-hour, app-based delivery service that allows consumers to shop for everything from craft beer to toothpaste. The company promises delivery in 30 minutes or less, regardless of the time of day. The app originally launched in Philadelphia and is now available in a number of major US cities.
The app caters to the growing demand for on-demand services that can be accessed through mobile platforms.
