The Good Warrior Beef Sticks have been announced by PepsiCo Foods as a series of consumer-driven snack products perfect for satisfying cravings for convenient, protein-led food items.
The products respond to the large number of US consumers who are looking to add more protein into their diet, but find it difficult to locate convenient options that are flavorful. The snacks are made with grass-fed and finished beef to give them 10-grams of protein in each serving with zero sugar and 100-calories per serving, while also featuring no gluten, artificial flavors or colors. The snacks come in Original and Jalapeño Pepper flavors, which are launching into retail in single stick servings and eight-count packs for $2.99 and $19.99, respectively.
Marketing SVP, PepsiCo Foods US Tina Mahal spoke on the Good Warrior Beef Sticks saying, "We created Good Warrior because people deserve protein snacks that don’t feel like a compromise. Our goal was simple: make protein snacks people want to eat for busy humans who need something fast. Good Warrior brings bold flavor, functionality of protein, and the convenience today’s consumers expect. We’re starting with two delicious beef stick flavors and are bringing even more tasty options in other categories later this year.”
