Rice Burger Fish Sandwiches

McDonald's Japan Introduces a Series of Gohan Sandwiches

McDonald's Japan introduces its Filet-O-Fish in new iterations in a series of 'Gohan' sandwiches, updating the iconic sandwich with a rice burger. The first is the Gohan Fish Wafu Kurokosho, which is a Japanese style of Black Pepper Fish in a rice burger.

The protein is a seasoned fried fish patty that is met with a special cream sauce with a potent coarse ground pepper, soy sauce, and roasted garlic powder. It is layered with a cheese slice and toasted rice buns. Joining this is the signature Gohan Teriyaki, which is based on the fusion of the popular Teriyaki Mac Burger and the Gohan Bacon Lettuce. The sandwiches are available as of March 10th until early April at McDonald's Japan locations.
