Wood-Encased Tables

Ron Gilad Creates Glass Tables with Wood Set Within the Design

Ron Gilad has created a set of tables that use two materials: glass and wood. His designs fuse these two items together in a way that's very different than simply finishing off a table with glass coating. Due to the thick glass casing around the outside, it looks as if the wood is suspended in mid air.

For anyone who is looking for a distinct furniture piece for their house, but doesn't want to go overboard, this design is different enough to stand out, but won't overpower everything else in the room. The entire series has an elegant aesthetic due to the smooth finishing and the glass and wood used. The tables come in various sizes to fit a number of different spaces.
