Rapper-Launched Canned Cocktails

Ini Archibong Designs Gin & Juice Can by Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre had recently unveiled their Gin & Juice canned drinks of premixed cocktails. The design and packaging has been created by designer Ini Archibong, creating a hand-drawn lowrider car to capture the true spirit of West Coast hip-hop culture in the 90s. Archibong is from LA himself and his ethnic background is Nigerian American. He has developed the graphic to reflect the music scene of his own origins watching hip-hop grow into what it is today.

Archibong told Dezeen, "The goal with the design was to encapsulate the spirit and era of the West Coast when the original Gin and Juice track was released. I wanted to transmit the reverence and unique culture of the era that has now become known worldwide. Bringing in the symbol of parental advisory is to remind people how intrusive, new, fresh and frightening this art form was at the time."
