Mountain Hardwear's Ghost Shadow Collection is Full of Recycled Content

Mountain Hardwear's Ghost Shadow collection introduces high-performance outerwear pieces that are touted as the brand's "most sustainable collection yet." Ghost Shadow boasts 100% post-industrial recycled shell fabric and semi-recycled trims, lining and insulation, meaning that it is comprised of about 88% recycled content in total.

Although incredibly lightweight, Ghost Shadow is warm and comfortable even when wet. Thanks to the fact that Mountain Hardwear favored breathable PrimaLoft Eco synthetic insulation, the designs are quick to dry and don't release the smell of wet down. As well as being mindful with the materials chosen for the collection, Mountain Hardwear also reduces the water and carbon emissions produced in the manufacturing process.

Recently, the brand also updated its Ghost Whisperer collection to feature 100% recycled ripstop nylon.
