Burger King's New Ghost Pepper Nuggets Bring the Heat

Burger King recently gave its classic chicken nuggets a bit of a spicy makeover with the debut of the new Ghost Pepper Nuggets.

If you're unfamiliar, the ghost pepper is a highly spicy pepper originally cultivated in India. The pepper is so hot that it was certified as the world's hottest chili pepper by Guinness World Records in 2007. And while Burger King's new Ghost Pepper Nuggets won't burn your tongue the way the peppers will, the brand's use of ghost pepper spice certainly brings the heat.

The new Ghost Pepper Nuggets will be available from participating Burger King locations starting on October 11, 202 for a limited time. The brand is also giving early access to the nuggets to users of the BK mobile app.
