The iconic Penny Loafer has been a notable footwear silhouette since it originally launched back in 1936 and it has quickly become a staple shoe, G.H. Bass & Co now celebrates the signature design. It has been worn by the likes of artists, musicians, politicians, and more. With its wide range, the brand celebrates the 85th anniversary of the shoe. G.H. Bass & Co tap friends of the label to come together and create a modern family album.
This includes faces including fashion director Catherine Hayward, artist Hetty Douglas, stylist Coco Mell, and designer Scott Simpson. To commemorate the shoe, the brand also works with London-based sign maker Ged Palmer to create an anniversary coin to fit into the slot of the loafer.
