The fashion industry is taking another beating from the public, yet this time it is not in regards to unnecessary Photoshopping or extremely emaciated models; the Germany's Next Top Model Native American photoshoot is feeling the heat due to its racially insensitive theme. Although the photoshoot was clearly made innocently enough, The Huffington Post points out how it involves "a bunch of non-Native women posing in an array of sexy outfits and headdresses, completely misrepresenting an entire population of people and offending many more in the process."

In spite of the controversy surrounding the Germany's Next Top Model Native American photoshoot, Heidi Klum, the person behind it, has yet to issue a statement let alone take down the offending images from her Facebook account. It was shot in Utah.
