Designer James Dieter has created an adjustable geometric lamp to showcase the launch of his new personal design studio.
His new design concepts will be directly focusing on the exploration and creation of geometric linkage. Mobi is the title of his first adjustable geometric lamp. The light has the ability to take on multiple shapes and appearances due to its skeleton-like framing.
With geometric connectors in a brass or aluminum finishing, the lamp can take on entirely new sizes and shapes. It can become twice as large, or half the size of the original figure. This allows the user to add their own creativity to any geometric lamp by changing size and shape if desired.
The lamps can be suspended overhead with highly intricate or extremely simplicity designs. The versatility of the Mobi is a clear sign of how Dieter's new studio will proceed with future creations.
