The artists of the town gather to envelop an entire street with this floral carpet during the Genzano Infiorata flower festival. These carpets can depict religious art, geometrically pleasing shapes or other infamous works of art. On the third week, their work is then demolished by local schoolchildren, who are permitted to wreak havoc.
