Gattefossé introduced Gatuline Link n Lift PF, a preservative-free version of its eye-contour active made from organically grown horse chestnut flowers using NaDES, or Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents, technology. The ingredient is designed for the delicate eye area, with lifting and smoothing effects that Gattefossé says can become visible within two weeks.
The preservative-free grade retains the same chemical composition and technical specifications as the original Gatuline Link n Lift, allowing formulators to create preservative-free products without compromising its efficacy or functionality. The active works by stimulating fibroblast activity and reinforcing the dermal-epidermal junction, with clinical results showing reductions in crow’s feet, under-eye wrinkles and tear troughs.
For beauty brands, Gatuline Link n Lift PF offers another option for developing preservative-free eye-care formulas while maintaining the performance of an established active. The launch also reflects growing demand for alternative preservation approaches in cosmetic formulation.
