Garbage as design is a modern art form that seems to be on the rise, as the push to become environmentally innovative grows stronger. A different approach to this green art form is this recent guerrilla campaign featuring animals made of recycled garbage bags. Art student Joshua Allen Harris literally took his work to the streets of New York with this guerrilla installation.
The inflatable animals, scattered around Manhattan, get their form from the winds that come up from the subway grids to which they’re fastened. This turns them into moving pieces of art, making it appear as if the creatures are dancing!
