This Full Circle campaign uses cutout disclaimer-like captions that remind me of those ubiquitous magnetic poetry kits. Josh Beech models menswear separates alongside oversized captions that read "Consume Consume Me," "Let's Talk About Me," "Buy Buy Baby," and "This is a Partly Political Broadcast."
What I like about this Full Circle campaign is that it injects some bright pop art fun into a fashion shoot that would otherwise be dominated by black fashion.
Implications - The prevalence of the 24-hour news cycle and social media have increased the amount of advertising consumer see on a daily basis. A company can benefit from this by investing in advertising that bucks convention and uses a non-traditional angle (fake PSA, satirizing conventional ads, etc). In doing so, the company shows a commitment to differentiating itself from the masses, attracting originality obsessed consumers in the process.
