Making these homemade fruit rolls is a lot like making a morning smoothie. The recipe calls for frozen strawberries, sugar and balsamic vinegar for added depth and flavor. All the ingredients are placed into a high-speed blender till pureed and then poured onto plastic baking sheets before heading into the oven. After cooled, the sheets are cut, layered onto parchment paper and rolled for serving.
The added touch of balsamic vinegar makes these roll-ups ideal for adults too that are fans of the nostalgic treat.
