Starbucks Japan's Frozen Drink Makers Recreate Chilled Drinks at Home

In Japan, Starbucks will soon be introducing a range of Frozen Drink Makers, which make it easy to replicate the flavors and preparation process of the coffee chain's signature drinks at home.

The cups designed by Starbucks kitchenware team features an inner core that can be frozen and placed into a outer shell for carrying. Once the inside has become cold enough, the drink-making process involves pouring in a flavored packet of Starbucks' coffee and some milk into the container, which can be stirred until chilled. The portable mugs double as a place to prepare and consume drinks, combining the needs for multiple kitchen equipment into one easy-to-carry container.

With the summer months upon us, Starbucks customers in Japan will appreciate how easy it is to keep cool with this exclusive product.
