The Farmstand by Lettuce Grow is a compact system that has the potential to be used to grow over 200 different kinds of fruits, vegetables and herbs. Best of all, the low-maintenance system is self-watering and self-fertilizing, so that it requires only a fraction of the time, space and effort of traditional gardening systems. Lettuce Grow, founded by Jacob Pechenik and Zooey Deschanel, is available in five different sizes and pairs a tiered column with a water pump and a timer, so that care of the plants can be automated.
