Pearl-Sized Mozzarella Pieces

Trader Joe's Fresh Mozzarella Pearls are Small Enough for Snacking

Trader Joe's is making it easier to add mozzarella to just about anything with the launch of its new Fresh Mozzarella Pearls.

To make its new Fresh Mozzarella Pearls, Trader Joe's works with a supplier that uses milk collected from cows that are not treated with rBST hormones. The milk is then treated with microbial enzymes to create a rich and milky cheese. But unlike traditional mozzarella, Trader Joe's Fresh Mozzarella Pearls are formed into tiny balls that are small enough for snacking. Or if you're not eating them straight up, you can also add them to pasta salads, on top of homemade pizzas, or even skewered with fresh basil and grape tomatoes for an easy appetizer.
