Across more than 250 stores, Walmart is introducing fresh meal kits as a means of making it easier for consumers to opt for meal choices that are easy and affordable.
The meal kits—which can be enjoyed at home in less than 15 minutes—developed by Walmart’s Culinary and Innovation Center are made with fresh ingredients that are assembled on a daily basis in-store by deli associates. Some of the options include globally inspired dishes like Thai Curry Chicken and Chicken Marsala, as well as comforting classics like the Cheesy Ravioli Bake.
The cost-conscious meals range from $8 to $15 in price and include pre-portioned meal kits, one-step meals that can quickly be heated and rotisserie chicken meals that can be completed by picking up a fresh rotisserie chicken from the deli counter.
