This free standing sink is perfect for house renovations with tricky plumbing. This design is conceived by Italian designer Monica Graffeo as a part of her Fonte project. The washbin is intended to take into consideration the everyday reality of the washroom.
Graffeo was inspired by a number of cultural concepts, including the Japanese philosophy of water and personal care. The sink is meant to represent harmony, resembling the totem poles of Aboriginal North Americans. Additional elements include stools and trees. Overall, the free standing sink design is elegant and clean. The totem-like ledges also provide extra storage or shelf space for your personal care items. The sink can also be used without these shelves, for a more simple and streamlined look.
