'Garena,' the developers behind the hit mobile battle royale 'Garena Free Fire,' announced that the 2022 Free Fire World Series (FFWS) will occur in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will be hosted from November 25th to 28th, marking the second Garena FFWS this year, with the first hosted in Singapore in early 2022.
Garena stated that the exact details surrounding participating teams, prize pools, and ways to watch the tournament will be announced at a later date. However, the prize pool is expected to surpass the previous FFWS pool of $2 million USD, making this one of the largest tournaments from Garena to date. Additionally, the 2022 FFWS is expected to stream to Garena's media accounts on YouTube, Twitch, and other popular live-streaming services.
