Cadbury Australia Replaced Freddo the Frog with Real Frogs

The familiar face of Freddo the frog has been temporarily replaced on Cadbury Australia's packaging to support a worthy cause to support the frogs. There's a three-year partnership in place with Taronga Zoo Sydney, Zoos Victoria, and Conservation Volunteers Australia and New Zealand to save endangered frog species and Cadbury has pledged hundreds of thousands of dollars to support breeding programs and building habitats..

Rather than featuring a smiling cartoon frog face, product packaging from the brand features real images of endangered frogs such as the Northern Corroboree Frog, Hochstetter’s Frog and the spotted Tree Frog. Cadbury estimates that there's a minimum of 30 species of endangered frogs in Australia and New Zealand alone.
