Lottery-Inspired Alarm Clocks

Ho Hyun LIM Designs the Fortune Clock with Dynamics

Design studio Ho Hyun LIM created the Fortune Clock, which is a dynamic alarm clock that does not have a Snooze function. Instead, it has a purpose-centric activity that wakes users up along with it. At the front of the clock, there is a digital display along the top part which showcases the time and day.

Under this, there is a wheel of fortune packed with balls. The concept is to fill the clock with balls which gets the user actively up and out of bed to stop the alarm and stop the balls from rolling around. The designer features the numbers on the ball to add more effort to getting up which is similar to the idea of lottery tickets.
