Remastered RTS Game Updates

Blizzard's Warcraft 3: Forsaken Kingdom Is Out

Blizzard is updating Warcraft 3: Reforged with a 3.0 overhaul and a paid expansion called Warcraft 3: Forsaken Kingdom, featuring the series' first new real-time strategy campaign since 2003. The combined rollout pairs a broad game refresh with a standalone campaign experience designed to expand Warcraft's RTS story.

The 3.0 package modernizes visuals, improves overall performance and rebuilds the World Editor to better support custom matches and modding. The editor revision aims to make creation and tweaking of maps easier for modders, while the expansion adds a narrative-focused campaign track to the base game.

The update refreshes core play and gives creators stronger tools to craft custom content, so long-running custom scenes can evolve alongside the main game. The Forsaken Kingdom campaign restores new single-player RTS content to the franchise and provides a clear reason for fans to return to Reforged.
