Anniversary Quake Expansions

The Quake Dawn of the Machine Adds a New Campaign

The Quake Dawn of the Machine is a free expansion celebrating the first-person shooter's upcoming 30th anniversary with new single-player and multiplayer content. Developed by MachineGames in collaboration with id Software, the update introduces a 19-map campaign built around a time-loop mechanic, alongside new enemy variants, weapon additions, an original soundtrack, and a dedicated Deathmatch map. The release extends the modern version of Quake while commemorating one of the genre's most influential franchises.

The expansion is available at no additional cost for existing Quake owners across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Microsoft PC Store, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass. The anniversary launch also coincides with QuakeCon programming featuring a livestream discussion with key figures from the franchise.
