In the wake of climate change and the pollution crisis, many consumers have shifted away from fast fashion for more sustainable options and this has fundamentally impacted iconic retailer Forever 21 to declare bankruptcy. The brand is making a comeback in the digital sphere and recently revived its e-commerce platform that will be available to customers in Canada, Asia, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions.
“E-commerce forms a large chunk of the profitable core of our operations and as part of our new global strategy, Forever 21 will leverage Global-e’s technology to offer international customers an outstanding online experience,” said the retailer’s President Alex Ok. As more brands shift away from brick-and-mortar retailers, customers can expect to see more fashion retailers shift to an online model.
