Low-Riding Bicycles

The Ford Citi Bike Doesn't Force People to Raise Their Legs to Mount

The Ford Citi Bike makes the process of riding around the city a little easier. For those who don't have a lot of mobility but can still manage to ride a bike, this design has significantly lowered the body to ensure that they don't have to raise their legs too high when mounting it. In this way, the Ford Citi Bike targets the sidelines in order to get more people active while also being more eco-conscious.

Designed by Jimena Compean, Isabel Ayala and Jose Arturo Moreno, the Ford Citi Bike is certainly made with the urban cyclist in mind. It also boasts storage for such gadgets as laptops and iPads. It was inspired by the Ford Focus ST 2013.
