The Neon / FIFA World Cup sculpture series by Rizon Parein celebrates the ups and downs of the 2014 tournament. After some memorable wins, Brasil's World Cup run came to an end with last night's disappointing loss to Germany, who beat the hosting country with a score of 7 to 1.
Soon the tournament will be coming to an end and many cannot wait for its winner to be crowned. While the soccer event has spawned countless art works, Rizon Parein's Neon/FIFA World Cup series is on of the most memorable.
The artist depicts the World Cup's participating countries with painted canvases that boast a neon light sculpture of each team's best known player. While Brazil's light sculpture is adorned with Neymar's face, England's team composition features a Wayne Rooney caricature.
