These Humorous Posters Poke Fun at the Oscar 'Best Picture' Nomiations

In honor of the 2016 awards season, these comical food parody posters were created by FoodInsight.org. This informative food nutrition website decided to recreate eight 'Best Picture' Oscar-nominated movies with a special twist that focused on food.

Each of the eight posters has been recreated using image-altering computer software. FoodInsight.org also added new titles that sound similar to the original names, while making use of culinary terminology. For example, the film titled 'The Big Short' was changed to 'The Big Short Rib' and 'Mad Max: Fury Road' was been changed to 'Mad Macks: Curry Road.'

While these images don't especially capture the the cinematic creativity of the original films, the food parody posters are a clever way for the website to generate public interest and interaction.
