Uber is currently testing a food experience service on the Uber Eats platform titled Uber Moments. Some of the food experiences available on the platform include cooking classes and fine dining experiences. Uber is currently offering two food experiences for its test, the first one is a Chinese dumpling cooking class that costs $75, and a five-course Nigerian dinner which costs $55. Uber stated that it is constantly seeking out new ways to improve the customer experience on the Uber Eats platform, and Uber Moments is part of this effort.
Uber’s food experience test is currently localized to San Francisco. The company stated that it emailed Uber Eats users in the region to inform them that they are able to access the Uber Moments service until November 17th.
