The structure, titled the Lakeside Meditation Pod, has an intricate and aesthetically intriguing texture, with ample roof covering to protect those inside from the elements and openings on the side to allow for airflow. The egg-like shape of the design also evokes the feeling that one is "in the womb of mother nature."

The floating meditation pod by Thilina Liyanage sits on the edge of a lake. The building fulfills the purpose of a yoga facility and its interior can accommodate up to five people and an instructor, making the practice a somewhat intimate one.
