Flitter Console Table combines a minimalist plywood structure with a sculptural tabletop that opens into a series of layered panels at one end. Designed by Deniz Aktay, the exposed plywood edges become a defining visual feature while creating integrated storage slots sized for books, magazines and tablets without requiring additional drawers or shelving. The tabletop is supported by slim white tubular steel legs angled outward to reduce visual weight and emphasize the floating appearance of the layered timber construction.
The console uses plywood's laminated structure to achieve thin, evenly spaced panels that fan outward while maintaining structural integrity. Viewed from different angles, the table shifts between a compact geometric form and an elongated minimalist silhouette, highlighting the changing profile of the layered surface. Developed by Aktay's Stuttgart-based DEZIN studio, the design combines concealed storage with exposed material detailing, using multifunctional construction to transform a conventional console table into a sculptural furniture piece.
