Situated at a primary entrance of a major shopping center in Chatswood, the store is conceived not merely as a point of sale but as a significant and immersive destination within MINISO's retail portfolio. The interior spans over 800 square meters and employs "a warm, natural wood design that creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere." The flagship retail location is organized into distinct sections, including zones dedicated to popular character licenses from major entertainment studios — like Disney's Zootopia 2-inspired collection and popular Sanrio collections, for example.

The opening celebrations for MINISO LAND in Sydney commenced with "a vibrant ribbon-cutting ceremony, a parade of giant MINISO hero products, energetic mascot performances, and themed activities."
