Nintendo Announced 'Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star'

Nintendo announced a new interactive exercise game for the Nintendo Switch titled 'Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star.' This game is based on the Japanese manga, anime, and video game series 'Fist of the North Star,' originally created in the mid-1980s.

Nintendo announced the new fitness title at its Nintendo Direct presentation on September 13th, 2022. The game features a dedicated exercise mode that lets players interact with Kenshiro, the protagonist of the fighting series, as he instructs them on how to exercise properly. This mode includes character progression, boss fights, and tournaments, each of which features noteworthy characters from the original manga and anime series.

Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star is essentially launching as a competitor, or alternative, to fitness-focused titles for the Nintendo Switch, such as 'Ring Fit Adventure' and 'Switch Fitness Boxing.'
