Improved Flagship Tablets

Amazon Launched its Newest Collection of Fire 7 Tablets

Amazon launched preorders for its newest collection of Fire 7 tablets with improved performance and interfacing features. The new Fire 7 tablets boast an extended battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge, up from the seven hours of their predecessors. On top of this, the newest Fire 7 tablets include a quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM, meaning they run significantly quicker than the dual-core, 1GB RAM predecessors.

One of the most notable changes to the newest line of the Fire 7 tablets is the interface option. These tablets include USB-C connectivity, a measurable upgrade from the micro-USB interface of the previous models. The Fire 7 tablet series is available in both adult and kid-focused tablets. The kid-focused version is more rugged and contains a set of parental control features that allow parents to limit their children's access to content.

The Fire 7 tablet is available for preorder at a price of $60 USD, while the Fire 7 Kids tablet retails for $89 USD.
