The Fiona Roberts Scopophilia armchair might just be the creepiest addition to your living room, but it is definitely eye-catching.
Scopophilia means "the love of looking," which is an appropriate name for a seat with absolute piercing gazes. This lounge chair is outfitted with scary floating plastic eyeballs of blue, green, gray and hazel colors. The privacy-invasive pattern is only heightened by the blood red upholstery, adding to its strangely alluring shock factor. While you might not want to purchase this piece of furniture if you have small children or an easily excitable cat, perhaps it would be a good investment for those who don't have a dependable watch dog in place.
The chair was shown in the Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition 2012 and won the $5000 prize.
