Planteneers created the new compound to form the basis for drinks, pudding, fermented milk products like yogurt, and cheeses to create hybrid dairy products.
The plant compounds from the fiildDairy+ range can be combined with normal cow's milk. Dairies can blend the two ingredients to reduce the amount of milk used by 50%.
"In the development of our fiildDairy+ range, we paid special attention to getting the original flavor of the milk products," said Planteneers Product Manager Katharina Schafer.
