Megan and Rose Martin’s ‘Fig & Fauna’ blog aims to share their lives as Florida-based farmers. The 3.5 acre site allows for a considerable amount of activity, bringing fresh culinary ideas and organic practices to the sites online following.
The creators of Fig & Fauna resolved upon a natural lifestyle after selling their suburban homes. The land that they subsequently acquired provided them with the opportunity to raise chickens, rabbits, goats and pigs, a task that was warmly welcomed by the duo who claim to feel best when living in close proximity to their food.
The best part of the Fig & Fauna project is its wealth of healthy pointers. Though the farming life is out of the question for a multitude of city dwellers, the posts nonetheless share knowledge on fresh wholesome cuisine.
