Tropical-Inspired Beverage Mixer Expansions

Fever-Tree Expands Availability of Its Tropical Mixers

Fever-Tree — a premium mixer brand now distributed in partnership with Molson Coors — has expanded nationwide availability of its Pineapple Ginger Beer and Classic Mojito Mix. This announcement will bring both products to a wider range of retailers, including Albertsons and Kroger for the ginger beer and broader national distribution for the mojito mix in early summer.

Fever-Tree's Pineapple Ginger Beer combines the brand’s signature blend of three ginger varieties with pineapple and Mexican Tahiti lime. This recipe is presented in 200-millilitre glass bottles in four-packs. The Classic Mojito Mix, on the other hand, pairs Mexican Tahitian limes with Moroccan spearmint in 750-millilitre bottles. Both beverages are available without artificial sweeteners or colours.

Fever-Tree's expansion taps into consumer interest in tropical flavors and rum-based cocktails, with the pineapple ginger beer having received industry recognition including a double gold award at the SIP Awards and gold ratings from the Beverage Testing Institute and the New York International Spirits Competition.

Tropical Flavor Mainstreaming
Widespread consumer appetite for pineapple, Tahitian lime and spearmint profiles signals potential for new shelf-stable tropical cocktail formats that compete with fresh-ingredient drinks.
Premium Mixer Retail Expansion
Availability in national grocery chains illustrates how premium mixer brands can scale distribution beyond specialty outlets to reach everyday shoppers and redefine mixer category pricing tiers.
Clean-label Cocktail Convenience
Demand for beverages without artificial sweeteners or colors points to growth in ready-to-serve, clean-label cocktail solutions that bridge craft-cocktail quality and at-home convenience.

Industries Being Reshaped

Beverage Manufacturing
Smaller-batch flavor innovation and premium ingredient sourcing create openings for manufacturers to launch higher-margin, award-winning mixers that disrupt commoditized soft-drink portfolios.
Retail Grocery Chains
National grocers expanding mixer assortments can reshape impulse and seasonal purchasing by integrating premium cocktail components alongside spirits and fresh produce.
Alcoholic Spirits
Rum and other spirits brands have scope to co-develop branded mixer pairings and bundled offerings that alter traditional on-premise promotion and at-home cocktail consumption patterns.
