Named after the two popular elements iron and gold, the Ferrum and Aurum armchairs by Dejana Kabiljo present an illusive front with their barely there construction.
Made out of mesh wires coiled together in a mirage-like silhouette of a chair, this design appears to fade into atmosphere. While it seems like the particles of this armchair collection are vibrating far apart from each other, the construction is actually very solid and sturdy, offering an unusual setting for comfort and relaxation. The wiring acts the same way as a spring would, offering flexibility while supporting the weight place upon it as well.
The Ferrum and Aurum armchairs designed by Dejana Kabiljo can be given decorative cushion covers that provide extra comfort and seem to float above the mass of interwoven wires.
