The recent Fed Ex LEED commitment will see every new building the shipping giant constructs meet the requirements for LEED Gold certification.
This new Fed Ex LEED vow is a daunting task far beyond even the sizable eco initiatives the company has already undertaken, but one which they have nonetheless already proven they are committed to. In fact, they have already announced construction on two building projects (a world headquarters in Memphis and a Las Vegas facility) that are already on track to pass the certification process with flying colors when completed.
The monumental dedication to sustainable corporate practices is a huge step forward for the environment and will hopefully inspire other companies to follow suit.
