Colorado Wildlife Council's Fathers Day Ads Focus on Memory-Making

This Father's Day ad series from the Colorado Wildlife Council focuses on encouraging dads to get out and enjoy some of the great outdoors with their kids. The Colorado Wildlife Council promotes a variety of interests, including agriculture, livestock and hunting, but fishing is definitely one of the safer and more fun activities for parents to do with their children—plus, if you actually manage to catch something, it can be instantly gratifying.

The ads created by Denver-based agency Pilgrim are presented like sentimental greeting cards with quotes from people on how meaningful spending time fishing with dad can be. As sappy as the messages may sound, there's truth to them, especially when they point out that beyond just being able to spend time bonding, the activity also teaches life lessons like patience and overcoming fears.
