That’s the beauty of the internet though; a clever marketing campaign like this would have been lost a few decades ago, but with the help of the web, a viral display like this can instantly make the global rounds.
Had David been an immobile, donut-eating, Frappucino-slurping Renaissance man, he never would never have become the muse of Michelangelo in the early 1500s.
