Heat-and-Eat Enchilada Meals

Rubio's Created a Takeout Family Enchilada Meal for Cinco De Mayo

Like many other brands, Rubio's went the extra mile to help customers celebrate Cinco de Mayo this year with its heat and serve Family Enchilada Meal.

Launched just ahead of Cinco de Mayo, Rudio's Family Enchilada Meal was a takeout meal that could be heated up and enjoyed at home. The meal consisted of ten enchiladas made with the customer's choice of USDA choice steak, all-natural chicken, grilled shrimp, Norway Lobster, or cheese. The enchiladas were then smothered in Rubio’s signature verde enchilada sauce and then topped with Rubio’s creamy white sauce and salsa fresca. The meal also came with two side dishes, either citrus rice or Mexican rice, and 'no fried' pinto beans or black beans.

To add an extra element of fun, Rudio's also created virtual Zoom backgrounds and curated Spotify playlists so customers could celebrate Cinco de Mayo virtually with friends.
