Interactive Treat Campaigns

DQ Canada Launches its Loyalty-Based 'Falling Treats' Campaign

Publicis Canada and DQ Canada recently teamed up on a new 'Falling Treats,' campaign, an activation that transforms one of Canada’s most iconic symbols, the maple leaf, into an interactive digital experience. The campaign speaks to consumers craving playful, tech-driven experiences that connect nostalgia with everyday joy.

With cooler weather often signalling slower frozen treat sales, DQ's campaign aims to turn seasonal sales dips into engagement. The brand is doing so by inviting fans to scan any real maple leaf on Snapchat through a custom lens that unlocks exclusive deals that can be used in store.

Launched on October 15th, and running until November 9th, the campaign offers DQ Rewards members special treats, including an 85¢ Mini Blizzard® Treat (offered from Oct. 15–26) and a free Small Shake (offered from Oct. 27–Nov. 9) with qualifying purchases.
