NASA Designs Adorn Balenciaga's Fall 2021 Collection

Paris-based luxury brand Balenciaga recently launched its Fall 2021 Collection which features NASA-inspired designs. The collection, which offers both men's and women's clothing and accessories, is themed around the year 2031 and draws influence from space exploration. This inspiration manifests in the Fall 2021 Collection's futuristic patterns and graphics.

The daring collection is comprised of parkas, polos, and shirts as well as backpacks, fanny packs, scarves, and sunglasses. Many of the items bear NASA branding, like the space research organization's logo or Apollo visuals. These designs, some of which date back to the '70s, are reflective of the renewed cultural interest in space on the back of SpaceX missions and NASA's planned exploration of the dark side of the Moon. The Fall 2021 Collection can be found online and at select Balenciaga retailers.
