'Oliberté' is a fair trade footwear company that aims to create jobs in Africa and support the rights of workers. Although there are a number of shoe companies that support ethical initiatives, Oliberté is the world's only Fair Trade Certified footwear brand.

Unlike other shoe companies, each pair of Oliberté shoes are handcrafted at a Fair Trade Certified manufacturing plant. This factory employs workers at fair wages and helps to support the rights of its employees. The shoes produced in the factory are made from premium leather that has been locally sourced from hormone-free cattle from Ethiopia. Not only are the shoes made in Africa, but the designs are also intended to reflect traditional African artwork and designs.

As the world's only fair trade footwear brand, Oliberté demonstrates how companies can produce their products in a way that respects the environment and the rights of workers.
