The Facebook News Feed has undergone a recent update in order to make it more personalized to each user. Since it has become a hotspot for sponsored content, the social media platform has been trying to make it more user- and consumer-friendly. By allowing individuals to curate the content they see first, that's exactly what they will get.

Through the latest Facebook News Feed update, choose friends and Pages people would like to see up top. In a blog post, the company writes, "You will then see any new stories they’ve shared since your last visit to Facebook at the top of News Feed, with a star in the top right of their post so you know why they’re at the top. You can scroll down to see the rest of your News Feed normally."
